A monopoly is considered bad for consumers and public even if it is a government monopoly.
A self-regulating bureaucracy is and will always be a self-serving bureaucracy.
Ultimately, only the people/public could and should control the bureaucracy and/or government monopoly. So that individual bureaucrats can be fired or punished in various ways for weak performance, bad policies, wrong decisions, self-enrichment, abuse, crime, or for failing to perform the duties of their position appropriately.
A body representing only and strictly Ontario public interests must be instantly created inside the ESA. It must be completely and absolutely independent from the ESA financially, operationally, organizationally, and administratively. And it must have a decisive power.

ESA will never give up fantastic salaries and huge benefits until we refuse to be their cash cows. They will milk us all dry if YOU and I don't stop them in court. So how committed are you to winning?
